Ken Brenniman
Yoga - Semi-private classes
|

Ken’s yoga classes at East Bay Pain Care are designed for beginners, particularly those who are interested in yoga as a healing therapy. These classes are very small (no more than 7 people), allowing the instructor to provide individual feedback to each student.
Each 60-minute long yoga practice begins with 5 minutes of pranayama, or breathwork, which allows you to become more aware of your body and its needs. During the next 50 minutes, Ken will guide you in focusing on the breath and using basic yoga poses to allow you to strengthen muscles, improve skeletal alignment, and promote balance and centeredness. The final 5 minutes of class include a deep relaxation exercise that allows an integration of the stretches and breathwork.
Since the benefits of yoga are most noticeable when practiced regularly, Ken teaches students to develop their home practice. You will receive personal attention to help you reach a level of proficiency that you can continue at home or at a public yoga class.
Ken is called Registered Yoga Teacher, having completed a 200 hour training program that is recognized by the national Yoga Alliance.
